From Everlasting to Everlasting

“Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God. A thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night.”

Psalm 90: 2, 4

 

God is God, He does not change.

He always was God and always will be God.

There is no one greater or more glorious.

That is who your heavenly Father is!

From everlasting to everlasting He is God.

Our culture can shake its fist at God and claim He does not exist but listen to how the Psalmist expressed in many, many years ago...

“The fool says in his heart,

    “There is no God.””

Psalm 14:1

It is a fool who makes such declarations.

No, they certainly wouldn’t admit to that.

As a matter of fact they would consider themselves wise.

But the wisdom of this world (and those who proudly boast in it) passes away.

Don’t be intimidated by those who have all kinds of degrees and are educated to the nth degree.

God is not impressed with that.

It is a broken and a humble heart that He will not despise.

He draws near to those who are humble but He resists the proud.

More and more we see people collectively shaking their fist at God.

How do we respond?

We love them as He loves them but we do not forget that...

...from everlasting to everlasting He is God.

Nothing anyone believes to the contrary will change that!
