Do you need a pedicure?

Today's blog post is contributed by David Trotta:

And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” (Romans 10:15)

My wife, like many woman, is very fond of pedicures.  It’s very easy to spot when she has just returned from a pedicure.  Her feet look beautiful, especially with that fresh coat of nail polish.

She tries to go as often as possible with her daughters and friends.  At the risk of being judged by the men reading this blog, my wife has even dragged me along a few times, minus the toe nail painting of course!

There’s another way to make our feet beautiful – by bringing the good news of the Kingdom of Heaven to others.

As children of God, we are a gift to the nations sent to preach the good news of His kingdom. And preaching the good news doesn’t just come from our lips.  We also, and maybe even more importantly, proclaim the good news through our actions.

You and I hold in our possession a precious, life changing message about a King who gave His life so we could become citizens of His Kingdom.  Oh how beautiful we are to God when we carry that good news to others.

So, how beautiful are your feet in God’s eyes?  Does your lifestyle (words and actions) preach the good news to others on a daily basis?  If not, make a commitment today to start demonstrating the love of God to everyone you encounter.
