“since what may be
known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For
since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—
his eternal power and
divine nature—
have been clearly
seen, being understood from what has been made,
so that people are
without excuse.”
John 16:13-14
Many have said this
far more eloquently than I ever could hope to but the truth is that God is plainly
evident in all of His creation.
Today’s verses speak
to that truth.
Those who deny the existence
of God have a much harder time explaining His ‘non-existence’ than those of us
who believe in and love Him.
While their voices
may be louder and greater in number that alone has never
been a legitimate
measurement of truth.
Truth sometimes stands
alone.
That does not change
truth.
When the twelve spies
went into the Promised Land it was the ‘minority report’ that carried the truth
even when it failed to ‘carry the nation’.
The Children of
Israel chose the ‘majority’ report and it cost them dearly.
Don’t ever be swayed
simply because of the ‘many’ versus the ‘few’.
Remember that when it
comes to truth – one with God is a majority!
Hold fast to the
Truth.
Hold fast to Jesus
Christ.
Hold fast to His
Word.
Hold fast to the understanding
that He speaks to His sheep and His sheep know His voice.
Have you heard the
voice of truth today?
Have you listened to
know the Fathers Heart?
Have you heard and
are you walking in the steps He has ordered for you today?
“God is not a man,
that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he
said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”
Numbers 23:19 (KJV)
Lord
Help me to hold fast to
you today.
Help me to listen and
obey.
Help me to walk in
the truth even when it is contrary to so many others.
I listen for your
voice.
