‘Finding’ God

“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast,
because they trust in you.”
Isaiah 26:3

Can you find God in all the circumstances of your life?
He is there you know.
If He said He would never leave us and never forsake us then that means He is with us in the midst of great victories but He also walks beside us in those moments we may feel all alone or the times when we turn our back on Him.
Sometimes we may call out “God, where are you?” but if our eyes were opened at that moment we would realize He is right beside us.
The church has seen wonderful mountaintop experiences and she has also been through many dark valleys.
Never, has the Lord left His church!
“Well, I know that” you declare.
Good!
Continue to walk in that knowledge so that you are always able to ‘find’
God no matter the circumstances of life.
Lose your job over your faith?
God has not left you.
Been to the doctor and the diagnosis is not good?
He remains by your side.
He is faithful.
We are not always so.
The renewed mind has disciplined itself to find God in even the darkest moments.
It is focused on Him and not on the circumstances.
Jesus mind was ‘fixed’ or ‘stayed’ on the Father.
That is why, despite the battle, He could declare in the
Garden of Gethsemane “not my will by yours be done.”
Keep your eyes, your heart and your mind fixed on Him who is by your side!
