Why Be Normal

“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”

I Peter 2:9

Why be normal indeed?

We are called to something much greater than normal!

We are a chosen people and a royal priesthood.

We are a holy nation and God’s chosen people.

Do those callings sound normal to you?

Certainly not!

Too often we live below our calling.

We live the normal life to fit in, to be accepted.

But how much better to be accepted by the Father and live in our calling?

We are called out of the darkness of this world into God’s wonderful light.

I’m not much for New Year’s resolutions so let’s just do this –

Let’s determine to be anything but normal each and every day and lets pursue God with our all...
