The ‘Aha’ Moment

“Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths.”

Psalm 25:4

Have you ever had the light bulb turn on over your head?

Have you ever had the aha moment where you suddenly had an understanding about something you thought you knew but realized in that moment that there was more?

That is a wonderful admission – don’t be afraid of it.

Our thinking should be challenged whenever we seek to know the truth.

The disciples were constantly ‘scratching their heads’ at things Jesus said.

When they didn’t it was probably because what He spoke went right over their heads.

The woman at the well thought she had answers but Jesus set her head spinning.

The teachers of the law certainly felt they held the corner on truth but even they were silenced often by the answers Jesus provided.

Remember that being in the classroom with Jesus means you are with Him who possesses all wisdom and all knowledge so be sure to soak up all that He reveals to you even if it surprises you just a bit.

It won’t be the first time Jesus’ listeners were amazed at what He had to say.
