“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ,
the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,
II Corinthians 1:3
My Heavenly Father is a Father of Compassion and the
God of all comfort.
It doesn’t say he is the God of the Comfortable.
He brings comfort to those who are hurting.
He brings compassion to us as well.
Maybe you have just lost a loved one and this season
of the year is so difficult.
Let His comfort surround you.
Have you been struggling with a rebellious son or
daughter who has rejected you and the faith they were raised with?
May the God of all comfort bring His love to bear for
you.
May His Spirit relentlessly pursue your child and may
you find comfort in the knowledge that He will not give up in that pursuit.
He is not called the God of some comfort.
He is the God of ALL comfort.
There is not a heartache you will face alone when you
walk with Him
Receive His embrace and let Him apply divine comfort as
only He can.
My words to you may mean very little but the truth of His
comfort to you cannot be denied.
