“Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an
obligation—but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it. For if you live
according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the
misdeeds of the body, you will live.”
Romans 8:12-13
There is a life that leads to death.
There is a life that leads to eternal life.
When you walk after the desires of the flesh, you are
walking to death.
When you walk after the Spirit of God you find life.
Not simply meager, squeak by life but rich abundant
and full life.
And that is but a taste of the life to come.
Your choice.
And it is not a one and done choice.
It is one we make over and over and over.
You can certainly be a believer and still live below
the inheritance we have in Christ.
Like the billionaire who chooses to live like a
pauper, you too can choose to walk after the flesh.
Again I say – your choice.
