friends,
let us purify ourselves from everything that
contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.”

Have you ever taken the time to consider the promises
of God.
No, not the promises of man, not the promises of a politician,
rather the promises of the One whose spoken words created the earth and all
that is in it!
His Words and His promises are weighty.
They can be trusted.
They can be relied on!
Gods’ Words are sure and they will keep you from
falling.
Hold fast to His promises.
Commit them to memory.
Tell your children of His promises.
Make them an anchor for your life in times of
distress.
There is no better foundation you can build in your
life than the one built on the promises of God.
The promises of man come and go.
They are a slippery slope if ever there was one but
the promises of God are bedrock steady and unchangeable like God Himself.
So what are you waiting for?
Stand firm on them today.
