Feast or famine?
Poor house or provision?
Blessing or blasting?
Our expectations set the groundwork for so much in our
lives.
Both good and bad!
Listen to these words from Job 3:25 –
“What I feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has
happened to me.”
We find a window into Jobs’ thinking in that verse.
His expectation was for calamity and not calm.
So often our expectations track the same way –
we anticipate trouble, we expect the worst and not the
best.
Guess what we get?
Where is God in this process?
He is right there beside us reminding of His word to
us to transform our minds.
What are you expecting?
