Have you ever desired something, yet it always seemed just
out of reach? Maybe the timing wasn’t quite right. Maybe you were not in the correct position to
receive it. Maybe you tried to stifle
the hope deep within you.
Yet that dream would not vanish. It would continually resurface. So you kept dreaming, hoping, desiring
because you knew this dream was something God had given to you.
You might have had seasons where you became discouraged and
all you could pray is “Thy will be done.”
Then, suddenly, God fulfilled this desire, and you felt so
alive! His word tells us:
Hope deferred makes the heart sick; but a longing fulfilled is a tree
of life.
Proverbs 13:12
Today, if you are hoping for something, please be encouraged
to continue pressing in. God has placed
that desire within your heart. Don’t
give up now; you might be near the finish line!
Maybe you have recently had a desired filled which seemed
out of reach. Share what God has done in
your life. Encourage others to keep
pressing in and not surrendering to discouragement. Share fruit from the tree of life you have
been given.
