“Come near to God and he will come near to you...”
James 4:8a
We are all doing our duty and keeping one another at arm’s
length.
Social distancing is the buzz word that burst on the
scene
just a few short weeks ago.
We know what it means and why it is important.
But here’s some good news for us – there is no social
distancing with God.
Not only does He promise to never leave or forsake us
but He also assures us that when we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us.
What a wonderful promise to hold onto!
As a matter of fact, perhaps the most contagious thing
you can catch
from God is His love!
And trust me – there is absolutely no reason not to
spread that around to as many people as possible.
Please understand that I am not making light of what
we are facing but I want to emphasize to each and every one who reads this that
God is near and He loves us no matter the difficulties we are facing.
We you draw near to Him today.
Be embraced in His love and let others feel that
embrace as well.

"You're the one who runs in my direction when the whole world walks away."
Remember that today as you are social distancing yourself from others.
