“Jesus replied, “You do not
realize now what I am doing,
but later you will understand.”
John 13:7
Distractions, impatience, discouragement,
uninterested, immaturity, bad counsel.
This is just a short list of some of the reasons we
may walk away from a work of God before it is completed.
I think we can probably all identify with at least one
of those and likely add one or two more.
God does not move on our timetable but He is always right
on time.
That calls for an adjustment on our part.
All of these drive through windows we have come
accustomed to in our world just maybe are contributing to our impatience when
it comes to what God is doing.
We do not want to wait beyond what we determine to be
a reasonable time.
But what is reasonable?
Ask Abraham and Sarah what a reasonable wait for a
child is.
Ask Joseph about his wait in the prison.
Or Hannah’s wait for a child...
The list could go on but I think you get the point.
Ae you willing to participate with God until He brings
to pass the finished work He has purposed in His heart?
Hold fast!
